New incentive program

Can someone please explain the new incentive program. Does your store and your department have to make both goals to reap the reward?,and how much is the reward? Do we see it in our pay checks quarterly? Nobody in my store seems to know the incentive amount. Information would be appreciate. A detailed memo explaining amounts would have been appreciated.

@SGl9x4D-Blft-- No, fulfillment does NOT count towards total sales. Only IFR (initial fill rate) % counts for the PTG.

If we made plan when is the incentive paid out?

fulfillment does count towards sales dollars. Half of the sale goes to .com and the other half goes to the respective store picking the item

My store was at 99%. I find it interesting that the dollars from fulfillment don't count towards making our goal but when customers return things that they ordered online, those count against our total sales.

Did many stores make their goals?

Don’t worry. Your store and most stores will JUST MISS THE GOAL. Macy's isn’t going to magically give anyone any extra money.

Our store made incentive. 25 cents per hour worked during quarter for each associate. Whoopee! Yes, you are correct, that was sarcasm...

I doubt most FT associates are going to hit that number in Q1. That's about 38 hours a week. Most schedules for the FT2A associates (which is most of our FT people) who are 28-35 hrs a week are closer to generating the minimum right now. The FT1 are 35-40, they are also at the minimums right now. Same for PT, those schedules are closer to 12 hrs a week instead of 20. Picking up shifts is helpful to getting more hours but not many people are giving up shifts right now unless they absolutely have to. We need to wait to see what actually happens after the first go-around this quarter, which ends May 5.

If the store makes it's sales plan and hits the fulfillment rate % then all employees will receive a bonus. The more the store exceeds sales plan, the higher the bonus . The money will be split based on the number of hours each person worked that quarter. It doesn't matter if your dept makes plan as long as the store as a whole does. Our store gave out a sheet showing examples of how much each person would get based on whether the store hit 100% up to 110% of sales plan. A full time employee works apr 500 hrs per quarter. At 100%, you would get .43 for each hour worked. At 106 %, it jumps to .70 per hour worked. At 110% it goes to .95 per hour worked. Hope this helps.
