Tesla isn’t self-driving. It’s a hands-on system.
I doubt there would be much impact to Automotive BU at this point. Those cuts wouldn’t come for at least a year after the acquisition is closed and NXP is integrated.
The automotive team has 6 months to learn Dutch, those who score C- or below on the final test go to the chopping block.
Do you care to explain why NXP hasn't made a splash with their complete self-driving SW stack? Looks like you know zip about the market, but you'll try to pass of as an armchair pundit.
Results and performance are so so weak it'll be shut down. Anyway, it conflicts with NXP pre-existing business, so post acquisition would be redundant.
