Why would we have after NXP two sets of service teams such as finance, marketing, communication, CFO, HR, legal, sales, corporate jets, business opppration, and so on, these teams must manage to unite and the result will be at least another 2K+ heads savings so why not. First that must be kicked out is GD the CFO. He is a failure in all aspects no matter how much he is hidden. You can't put lipstick on a pig.. another one is Brian M the M/A guy, what the hell we were thinking.
Unless the financial number improves for Qualcomm the layoffs would continue to geo shift jobs to lower cost geographies

@leo you can't simply cover whole 1B$ with just 1500 heads. On sites other than CA there were layoffs as well. Another huge quake is coming
The nxp deal will conclude in July, so you may be somewhat correct. However, confirmation has been given that the cost target was met, so without another catalyst you’re basically making it up!
