So the latest hoopla… There is a ton of talk about the % number RA cut that’s about to hit sales (specifically US based sales folks).
I’ve got internal info from an exec and a VP that they are targeting about 30%, but the cuts will be gradual – the first wave will transpire in Q1, and things will drag on. I’ve heard rumors about a 50% cut as well, but both of my senior sources are categorical that it’ll not be that deep.
All those folks who are hoping for smaller cuts, will be gravely surprised though. You do not have to be a Nostradamus to figure out that we are, in general, moving towards a DSM (Direct Sales Model) – the industry is there already and we have to follow.
