Any good employment lawyers that you can recommend? I am getting jerked around a little on the package and need some leverage. I am so sick and tired of hearing the term "business needs." What ever happened to employee needs? Employees have been on edge for over 5 months at this point and only last week they decide to share the severance package???. It's pretty clear this arrogant management team doesn't give a flying xxxx about the employees. Let's end this misery ASAP and hand out some packages with quick departure dates....and get SM out of here...he had 3 years...time's up.

So pretty much every f---ing email I've ever gotten. You're an engineer, figure it out. Apparently you f---ers know everything.
I think the OP was misinterpreted as "please give me a bunch of armchair free legal advice." If I am not mistaken the question wasn't asking advice...it was asking for a good employment lawyer. Y'all a bunch of amateurs.
Unless you are discriminated against in termination, there's no case to be made.
@1fgd - then by all means, let me know what grounds you'd be suing on and how it works out for you. Unless you're in some protected class you've got f-all to go on.

2015 layoff generated quite a few lawsuits. If you google it, you'll find the law firm supporting employees. Make a decision before signing the package on your way out.
Some details would be nice. "Jerked around a little on the package" isn't much to go on.
What is the severance package?
If that were entirely true there wouldn't be employment lawyers...every moron could just quote you...."at will". There is more to it. Thanks for the explanation you simpleton.
Yeah omg srsly. I've been yelling at my mgnr Ill call my lawyer if he doesnt lay me off rn with at least double what they're telling me im gunna get when I voluneteer. its unacceptable!!!!!!!!!
Jerked around how? The package is what it is, they owe you nothing. Your employment is at-will.
