Looks like the Raleigh offices are moving to another location in the Raleigh area. Either the lease is up and the Sloan’s will not renew, but more likely the continuation of eliminating all people and places formerly associated with CQ/GPI. Maybe AAP can find another old failing retailmall for a bargain price as they are plentiful anywhere in the country.

Advance to close more locations.
Parts pro's and CAM to fold
Moving downtown to attract millennials and hipsters who will stay for a year or two max. Lots of money to spend after laying off the more expensive employees with knowledge and experience
Another reason to leave. Your time is up. Advance will terminate you.
The bizjournals story is BS. The real story is the head of marketing LB, wants to "attract" younger talent to the marketing team and she believes the only way to do that is with downtown office space. They are moving tech-net downtown as well. Idiots!
They are moving downtown for more space. https://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/news/2018/06/28/advance-auto-parts-expanding-in-raleigh-with.html
Yes, another depressing, run down, dingy, dirty failed mall would just be so nice...
What office space are you referring to? Roanoke's offices were much nicer than what I experience in Raleigh? They probably are looking for a larger campus since they are moving from Roanoke. CQ campus was too small.
I doubt AAP can afford all the CQ office space in Raleigh any longer and most likely will need to find a facility much cheaper. CQ’s building were very nice and upscale giving a professional image to the CQ brand.
Roanoke lease is up next year. Need to move to hire better people
the longstanding rumor is that the Roanoke office lease is up next year, just making room for the inevitable move
