I just quit after 12 years with Verizon Wireless. Very poor leadership from the top down..was definitely time to get out of this saturated market and business. A severance would have been nice, everyone wants one at this point, but I wasnt going to wait any longer.
It says so much about a company that a loyal employee of 10 years is waiting to be laid off. Verizon is definitely not the company that it used to be and it’s because of management. If it doesn’t change it’s way, it won’t matter if we have the best network, people are going to switch. History has proven that the best company can and will fall with poor leadership.
Same here.. praying to be laid off. 10 years with this company, and all the pride and excitement about my work has dwindled down to nothing in the last 2 years or so.
