Seems like the company is trying to find ways not to raise the wages. The hiring pool is slowly closing in on them. Target starts at a higher rate.

They have announced recently that, based on performance, your manager will be adjusting your bonus up or down.
To me this feels like a step towards getting rid of the bonus.
In terms of the dress code, I don’t think it will matter to employees more than money.
But then again how many employees does Walmart need. All I hear about is layoffs, firings, and reorganize. It seems to me that they want to downsize labor.
@2ipe I heard rumors since 2010 that the incompetentship in charge were trying to get rid of the yearly incentive. (I joined WM in 2007 and left in 2017.) A person that left my team to join another was in meetings around 2010 when it was discussed.
It is still around but I worried every year I was there that the announcement would come telling us it is gone.
It makes you wonder what is the next big change! Perhaps to eliminate our magazine or maybe the shareholders bonus?

Yep the distribution centers are getting desperate. We're using every temp service in the area just to keep our head above water, these temps are unreliable and don't last when they realize whats expected of them. Never getting a raise has taken a toll and most of the long term employees have quit. Not sure what will happen when we run out of temps to use and abuse.
Every damn last one of us on every thread on here are the hiring pool.........the good ones can swim......the other 90% of you should be learning to swim and paddle those arms instead of typing on here. Cry me a River, build a bridge and get over it or waste that last breath on here and swallow a big ole gulp of water and get it over with already.......no one is throwing you a life saving device or damn sure not wasting time calling help for you.
