Mangement keeps saying everything is fine but there is no stock in stores and prices are thur the roof bottom line the ship is sunk

Some managers do get it but they need to keep the good feelings going so that everyone keeps working. Same with HE. Everyone in corporate knows that SHC is doomed but they just keep doing their job and putting out resumes until the end. If they told the truth then everyone would quit and the end would come sooner.
If you believe that SHC is going to make it you have not been paying attention and deserve whatever comes your way. Be prepared, its not if but when they file BK
@2div -- SGM at our store is like this too -- her head is so deep in the sand. Tells us not to pay attention to the news, "they're exaggerating and blowing things out of proportion" she'll say. Actually has said on multiple occasions that the "transformation" is exciting and will bring good things to us. Said this during a rally meeting. When one of the attendees politely questioned the accuracy of that statement and said that it just meant closing stores and layoffs, she sent him home He never did return. The rest of us just go "yeah, uh-huh" in our minds and pretend to be engaged for this exciting "transformation" just to keep our jobs.
Overheard a conversation between herself and the QMT right around the time the first round of layoffs and closures were announced earlier this year. She was in complete denial when the QMT brought up the fact that Sears is in the final stages of collapse. She just said to him that she hears that all the time and it is getting old because Sears is in "transformation". The QMT was smart and didn't continue to argue with someone in complete denial. The QMT is retirement age, hopefully he can cash out before it collapses.
@TvzuLn6-2aon I wonder sometimes wonder if my manager is or acts like an idiot. He always puts that our store is safe and nothing is going to happen to us, yet this just past following week another something 72 stores close and more are still closing yet he says everything is fine.
Hours are cut to the bone their is not much management left (fired 2 of the best ASM's left). The next thing I can see cutting (and its been mentioned here) is eliminating and the ASM position and either cut it for good or offer a huge downgrade to supervisor. I can also see our AP finally getting the boot since hes the only one left their. Oh boy but not the SM says we have amazing metrics in other areas, but in the end of the day its all about the $$$.
I'd wouldn't trust any manager because they'll never tell you the truth. Store #1253 had useless sgm who played more with the cac lead, softlines manager who had so many staff leave because no people skills, ops manager who couldn't pass the assessment test other than shop at victoria secret
Please tell me your powers of observation didn’t just realize this just now. Get out while you still have a job!

They seem to steal future hours to try to schedule people today to do tool reset and it sure isn’t getting done too quickly
So when the future they are stealing hours from gets here we either will not have anyone working or maybe one person manning the ship or another thought will be that’s when Eddie pulls the plug on everything and the liquidators are called
@TvzuLn6 My store for some odd reason is pretty damn pack in footwear however their isnt any hours to properly have the truck process lol. As for tools its emptier than ever. Clothing is sorta filled, but its mostly junk we have left with little to no help. We didn't get truck when the news about all this stores got announcement I wonder if its related to it...
