Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

NEW APPS

All these news APPS... They can’t even keep WALMART ONE up. And running...What a joke.. Ho is never ready for ANY new rollouts. Scan and Go is down quite a bit in the club...members can’t log in a third of the time. We will see!!!!

Pretty much every project is run from ditch to ditch. Then when the id--t in charge pulls in extra resources and makes everyone work 80 hour weeks and weekends to make a failing project succeed, whomever was in charge of the project gets promoted and accolades heaped upon them as @bwe said. (I worked 10 years in the HO and this was SOP - standard operating procedure.)

The pathetic part is someone would sacrifice their weekends for three months (or more) and then some, and then only get a few days of 'comp time' that doesn't even come close to making up the time sacrificed for their masters.

H.O. is more concerned with meeting a date than makin things right. I ave been witness to many half--baked apps rolled out from their IT department.

And the date? That seems to be picked out of thin air... And then shortened. Makes a manager look good to deliver deliver early, then it becomes some else's problem to fix the mess. And the original managers look good so they get promoted...
