A lot of cost cutting measures are on the way, stores will run a minimal staff and the lucky managers and dept mgrs that stay will get more duties / depts. Assigned to them!

Nametags should be changed from "Our People Make A Difference" to "Or People Made A Difference", because those fine folks who helped grow the company are gone and /or having their jobs systematically eliminated. It's all about the ego's and bonuses in Bentonville, make no mistake about it.
ok just read a post something about workday taking over personnel duties and career preference going away anyone know has this started in Walmart I think post was talking about Sams club when is this suppose to happen. not much left to do if this happens most other duties already been done away. PC TC information requests by market level from store managers to be taken to calibration meetings along with salaried assistant managers ratings for first part of January BEFORE YBM meetings for store managers.
has tc gone away in any supercenters Are we talking spring 2019 or is this someone wishful thinking I see tasks being eliminated but keep being told no way. Could use heads up at least 3 months to make plans if anyone has the facts not just rumors. someone told me that it was posted about pc tc gone in March but I'm not seeing it does anyone know if this is true?

@4zol - How do you explain the new access to schedule performance reports for PC/TCs? Or do you think that is a lie as well? This company has more pilot programs currently in progress than you could imagine. Just because you do not have access to one - does not mean that it does not exist.
Maybe they will move forward with the program after the test, maybe they won't. I am not claiming to have that answer. I know that we all like to think that we are important and all knowing - but the simple truth is that we are not. Instead of tearing down the confidence of others and shouting about lies - why not approach the subject with a more genuine attitude.
I don’t think pay will, maybe the cap or level. Home office don’t care about spreading anything thin. They never worked in a store, they like to torture people at store level with all the programs that don’t work.
I just don't see how that will work as needy as cashiers are and key turns every 5 min for card loads at service. Not to mention they already have us spread so thin in NHM. They must be expecting to go fully sco. I have seen some CSMs being crossed trained but not all. Anyone know if pay will be affected?
CMT is the new title for CSM. Some c-ap like that. They don’t just deal with front end anymore the deal with issues on the sales floor as well.
They will split the dept managers in half find new positions for them the other half will be on a team. No one manager will be over one area. Regular associates will be doing price changes, mods, etc. they are fazing department managers out slowly. When every store has a robot look out!
They will change asst manager titles to deputy.
CSM’s will get new titles and they don’t have just the front end anymore. They are forming teams in every part of the store. What’s left of it anyway.

Neighborhood markets are switching already.... they will now only have 1 salaried ASM but have 4 new HOURLY team leads (hourly assistants).... and no more csms or support but 7 certified trainers (dms) and teams

UROdyzj-2oox I am telling you from personal experience. PC's are in test. After ASM completes sch. they can not edit. Only SM, PC, and CO will be able to edit. Schools you are speaking of is to roll out the Sch. Right for those stores switching to it.
I am a PC , I received the email from academy for the new schedule training.......it was NOT for the PC, it was for the SM and Front end ASM. If our SM chooses to he may take another ASM with him....nothing was said about the PC going to training classes. PC’s will NOT be able to do scheduling
@1roh 8-13-4 dpts haven't combined in my store or any of the stores in my market. They test it in stores before it rolls out to everyone. No need to be rude to the person that posted that it's just now happening in their store. Grow up!
Lol at the people in denial on this. Sam's club did exactly this, Walmart Canada already operates likes this, and they are testing it markets already. It's just when at this point. They said same thing about co managers and look what happened, they got calibrated and cut, severance, and those who made the cut forced to go to stores at MM discretion. Same thing will happen to ASMs.
Extra spending on salary, bonuses and benefits, I doubt it!

@UROdyzj-1law NOT TRUE... just today operations released test for PC, SM and CO to be the only ones to change schedules...sending PC's to academy starts next week...so try again..
