Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Here to help life go right.® No Help

No help. No update, of how policy holders will be taken care of.

Lack of communications, no one to answer my calls and answers.

There is not even an update on the SF homepage after this major hurrricane in the Carolina's

How sad I know people that work for SF that could make those easy updates to show that they care for our customers and policy holders. They made that nearly Impossible for employees to do.

Let's slam the front line and complex with issues. This is Bad Business!!!

Funny the article refers to the adjusters as agents, isn’t it?

agreed. We have a great team of Cat employees and other claims, employees, agents and team members that go above and beyond to help our policyholders. We are all pulling together to help each PH effected by this horrible flood.

All customers will be taken care of 1 by 1 until everyone receives the assistance their policy covers. Not all of these losses are losses insured against. Per the policy, your duty is to make any reasonable and necessary repairs to mitigate damages and save all receipts for lodging, food, fuel.

It won’t be a fast process for everyone, unfortunately someone has to be first and someone has to be last. The people without homes for losses insured will be taken care of first and the people with minor damage will be taken care of last. The more organized the customer is, the easier the process will be.

Adjusters are coming in from all across the country and will hit the ground running...when it is safe. They leave their families behind, work 7 days a week, 14-15-16 + hours a day, sleep very little and eat even worse. Don’t forget to say thank you to the people that come to help because it goes a long way. Whether your loss is covered or it is not, the adjuster isn’t in control of that. It is not their fault, but they can provide the letter fema needs.

@ewy -- Agreed. There are plenty of things sbout SF that can legitimately be criticized. This is not one

Just for info, I went to the homepages of State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, Progressive, and Liberty Mutual. Allstate was the only one that had any mention of Florence. The toll free number to file a claim was listed at the top of their page.

The rest had nothing. Maybe the internet is not the best way to reach people who have no electricity of internet service? I don't know---just saying that competitors are not showing anything on their homepages either.
