Walmart starting pay is $9 dollars an hour unless states have higher minimum-wage.
After 6 months of training then it goes to $10 an hour if you pass. Not sure where the media is getting their information probably from home-office but it’s wrong!

You apparently didn't get the memo last year. The minimum pay is $11/hr immediately. If a state has a higher minimum wage, Walmart pays that higher wage. You no longer work for less while completing Pathways for 6 months. This is the starting wage for Pay Grade A. Pay Grade B jobs start at $11.50/hr.
$15 and a Union!
Then they can’t take hours away!
Good grief!
They do that now!
15 an hour might sound good but keep something in mind, every single time they raise wages they simply cut hours. So on paper you’ll make 15 an hour but you’ll end up working a lot less hours so your check isn’t going to be any bigger.
You’re not going to be able to convince me that $15 isn’t the right thing to do.
Especially for the Walmart people!
That 30 your making will really seem great when 16 year old kids running a cash register are starting at 15. Are you naive enough to think you will receive an equivalent raise? Are you naive enough to think this won't cause inflation to water down your 30? The problem in this country isn't minimum wage, it's current employees being treated like sh-- and never getting a raise. There's plenty of 15+ an hour jobs out there for those with a little ambition.
I make over $30 an hour and I still think people should get $15 an hour. That won’t make anyone rich by any means, but they won’t be on government or taxpayers help.
The really simple concept is to pay a living wage.
If they want 15 they should find a job that pays 15, pretty simple concept really.
Walmart definitely needs to step up!
$15 starting pay!
Why can’t you start them off at a living wage and train them at the same time?
