Teamlead Restructures

Any truth behind this rumor? Heard from a credible source that teamleads are going to have to reinterview for the spots..Fresh isnt included. I think this is a good idea. To many teamleads been in their position to long. Not letting anyone else move in and try to move up. I think if you have been a teamlead for 10yrs and not tried to do more you need to vacate the spot. This is just a rumor. Just looking for some insight. No need for negative feedback.

I once had the team lead position but i was forced out when accounting was eliminated.. I am now back in accounting to bail them out because i am the ONlY one in the club who knows anything with this department.. I have been asked to train others including team leads.. The front end team lead has criminal background and now has accessibility to associates personal. Information. I had shown evidence of job practice t/l was involved with that should've warranted termination.. Deaf ears.. To advance in this company you need to kiss a...and lie alot.. Hard work doesn't work. I've tried!

Every year they downsize managers. Teamleads will be changing next year. Most teamleads cant handle all the new responsibilities. Especially 20+yr ones.

When they illiminate nights , then you have team leads who need a spot . They will throw you all in a pot and restructure, the way they did the Managers . Down sizing is the name of the game right now . Managers will be next

@kvk right on hahaha. Cry babies want my spot and they think a restructure will get them there? I guarantee I will get my lead position if I have to interview again. If you haven't moved up in the company, it's your own fault!

If I'm happy in a position I am in, I need to move on so someone else can take it? That's how you think a career works? And then you say you don't want negative feedback? How old are you? The whole point of a career is to work yourself up to a position you're happy with. Then you stay until you retire or find something better at a different company. It is not my fault that I am in a position that someone else wants. That's how all positions work in every company. People are in a position, and someone somewhere is wanting that spot. They have to wait it out, not tell them to move out of the way because the people below are crying about it.
