Working NRQ

It is now mandatory for the EUS On Call person to have to work the NRQ for the entire week. Having to take warm hand off calls. I guess not to many volunteers signed up for the voluntary request that was made by Lisa Joyce. This absolutely s---s. Can't wait to hear when my release date is.

@ial

It's not expertise, it's man-power.

The in-house NRQ techs have been whittled down to bare bones.

So much so, that two of the NRQ managers were even let go, because there weren't enough NRQ techs around to manage.

But you're basically right. Not enough to load balance the work coming into the NRQ.

Especially, when they cut a major of the in-house staff, but change a bunch of routing rules to directly route a bunch of issues to the NRQ.

It's crazy.

They should suspend the nrq and use local queues until things are sorted out.

Of course they won’t do that because it would make “leadership” look bad, so the end users and us grunts have to pay the price for the calamity that is the nrq.

They must not have the in-house expertise to properly load balance the nrq, so much for ai and ml, what a joke.

Sorry for those of you languishing with unworked incidents and tasks, just wait until January.

Really feel for those left behind.
