Read yesterday that 500 people were laid off from finance, is this true?

@gwe Really? WM Leadership treats their associates like mushrooms. They keep them in the dark and feed them lots of b---s---. You do know how to tell when a Manager is lying to you? Their lips are moving. I would believe rumors here which always have some truth to them than anything from leadership. I wouldn't be surprised if the associates that were affected had to to sign some kind of gag order. (I spent 10 years in the HO. I left for a better opportunity before I was termed due to age discrimination. And yes, it's real. WM just does it legally. Their legal department reviews all the term lists and tells leadership they need to add additional groups so they can't be sued for any kind of discrimination.)
I say, until it can be verified somewhere on line, don't believe ANYTHING you read on here
