For the blue crew techs you may think this offer is great but look at service.com they have contractors contacted to give bids. If they are changing their business model to have their own contractors for the jobs that is great but don’t expect that to happen without getting it in writing.
Here is a site that shows who owns service.com https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapid=322464717
It’s definitely not Eddie
@jng, interesting. Thanks for the link.

Service.com is not owen by Eddie. I hope service.com gets the home Improvement services
Service.Com is a privately held LLC based in MI... it is not owned by Eddie
Who does own it? Pretty sketchy website.
Sears Home Improvement is a division of Sears Home Services.
In literature, a stalking horse is a side character introduced so that the main couple can get together. Basically, they're setting a price floor in the auction so the Sears stores can get together with the people who will really close them down, mostly the people who redevelop them into nursing homes, fitness centers, restaurants, and things like that.
I don’t think SHIP and Home Services are the same company-
Read it again... the "stalking horse" bid was made by Service.Com. The terms:; $60M in cash.
