I think a majority of people that will be left are some of the arseholes in HR the brown nosers and a lot of worthless snot nosed engineers and lazy unproductive employees. Sad they will let all the productive employees go, that made Pioneer look great.

No more Tonight Show or Google like employee meetings waisting $$

No more legacy employees that don’t work

No more HR rejects

No more dumping do nothings and promoting them into SC

No more hiding Fusion didn’t work out so good

SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT THE COMPANY IS SCREWED

First order of business should be removing the young and inexperienced from engineering management roles. Who thought that was a good idea? Hundreds of millions in cost overruns for what?

The company has been run into the ground. Brown noser 20 years olds are made managers and terrorize experienced staff with their egos. Ideas are not encouraged anymore. They want us to follow a “process” that changes weekly. Scott is a great leader of the past but unfortunately all circumstances have changed. It’s too late to rescue Pioneer. Sale to a major is the best thing for the employees.

Sounds like GB is "retiring" on 4/4/2019. Convenient. Part of causing the mess and now he takes it to the house. Good job!!

wasn't the "new" ceo on the board and didn't the board approve the decision of TD and his mgmt team? why pick someone who was part of approving the problematic decisions that TD made over the last 2 years. seems like he's part of the problem as well. SS is a great salesman, but he can't make this business model work when it doesn't actually work. he will look to sell the company or merge with someone...then ride off into the sunset as the savior.

I think unconventionals are not suitable as a standalone asset for a company. Watch how the majors do it and you'll see how they can fit into a portfolio, but not be the only bldg block in a portfolio. They just don't work for that. The production profile of unconventionals does not fit for a stand alone profile. The permian will be consolidated and cube developed in a more efficient manner than the past 6-8 years.

It’s a shame that pioneer was built by one man and he did a great job building it in to a great company and a great place to work. Now it’s being sold in peace’s pumping services was sold off to cover up what I think was just a way to cover up someone’s miss use of company funds. I believe that soon this will come out.

TD was not cutout to be a CEO and sales guy for the company stock and direction. He was a president and COO. Those are very different roles and not one he was made for. It's too bad it went down this way. Don't worry...after the investigation into our questionable practices, even SS won't be able to save us. Better sell now before the truth comes out.
