We have a wrestling tournament causing parking and tracking nightmares. We have a high profile trial that could result in protests or riots. If management had any common sense, they would have encouraged working from home Thursday and Friday.

As for Pittsburgh management, mine never addressed any of the e-mails that came out about the trial and potential protests. We were sitting there in the office on Monday when the email came out telling us it was okay to report back to the office on Tuesday. Amazing how many managers lack comprehension skills.
Yeah, jerks like 5hln feel like they are on top of the world. In their 20s, watching the old folk get kicked to the curb, getting promotions, etc. His day will come, and he will be bent out of shape when some young jerk is mocking him online.
It's because of people like you, @5hln, that make me rejoice in the fact that I was liberated from the sad place that BNYM has become. Management is so sub-par that the staff has zero motivation to deal with everyday nuisances like traffic jams. I count my blessings every day that I'm no longer a part of BNYM.
There is traffic, there are events, please stop f@cking complaining and WORK. If the bank wasn’t there you PGH people would be shoveling coal at an old steel mill.
There was an email sent out on Friday telling Pittsburgh workers to make alternative arrangements for Monday due to protest concerns. That scenario was not approved by my manager. And of course there is a planned protest tomorrow at 11AM. I guess we are all expected to stay inside and eat that c-appy food from the cafe.
So will these jobless protesters hang out all afternoon and disrupt rush hour traffic?
Every morning Pittsburgh management is making like it's Feb 2nd and they're Punxsutawney Phil. They've seen their shadow and disappear back to the rathole not to be seen again.
Get to work!
WAIT! Pittsburgh management is doing something other than piddling on their cell phone or chatting personal bs with their favorite underling at their desk?!
Wait - wrestling tournament? protests and riots? this is within BNYM right?
It’s much harder to lay people off if they work remote.
