Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Any news about SE hub globally?

Would like to know if there's any lay off news for SE hub at the end of Q4 and in the coming FY20.

To call Turd’s model mo--nic would be the understatement of the century, the fact that LE has Agreed to it just confirms how senile he is. Oracle is f---ed, f---ed and yes, totally f---ed

I know some of managers in SE hub china team is very dishonest. they are struggling to apple-polish their customer (SE) without any bottomline. because some of them are regarded as useless. No integrity on them.

MH is the architect and main sponsor of the hub model for presales with SCC and of the telesale model for sales with OD. He is the one who convinced LE and SC that it is the best and most financially effective model for the future of the company. Until MH is here Oracle will not change this model. The final desing is a company with very few field sales guys (2 or 3 per state/country, covering the top 15 customers) serviced by even fewer SCC guys (1 per state/country), and the bulk of sales tele-done by OD. In the mind of MH this will work perfectly. He has already tried to do something similar in all the companies he has been before, but has always been fired before suceeding, leaving those companies in a terrible condition.

With HD moving to Google, the Oracle SE community lost it's senior most leader championing the cause. Investment in SEs globally will be less, attrition will be higher. Jim Collins calls it "The Doom Loop"

If you mean sales engineering. Probably not, they operate at a high attrition level. A simple hiring freeze would reduce headcount at better than 25% per year

no planned layoff in the hub in Romenia, at least until Q2FY20 included. don't know for other hubs.

If by SE you mean Sweden, yes. There is going to be lay-offs in support and sales. The product development, Java se, is already depleted by people leaving on their own.
