Because clubs are so short handed there is so much overtime. As a result, hourly associates are making more than managers but managers are putting more hours in. How is this fair? I didn’t work my butt off to become a manager to get treated like this. These long hours are k–ling me and my family. How sad that Sam’s club no longer cares about the wellbeing of their associates. This company has gone down since all the closures of Sam’s clubs. Sad.

The manager that posted he is happy his people are getting overtime. Sounds like a good mang I wish our management was positive like that wish that guy or girl was out manager
Your first mistake is your a manager for Sams. No different at Wally World. Look for a new job and get paid your worth. Sams or Wally World will never pay your worth. Place is a joke.
I’m a manager and yea we are working long hours but stop b–ching you should of known this when you went into mgmt and I’m happy for my team that they are getting a little OT. Look at all the stuff we put in them so I’m grateful for the ones that stuck around for without them we are screwed. I always said we need them way more than they need us. Without them nothing gets done so stop b–ching and let them enjoy the OT while they can it will eventually stop. And yes I am a manager
Some not all management get paid to sit in the office. Some spend their time sitting anyway.
Fake news.
I’ll bet you the original post wasn’t written by a manager.
At least your paycheck is consistent. These OT hours will not last for hourlies. Let them enjoy the extra money while they can. They've worked hard for it. You sit in the office answering emails and delegating to others. We are doing manual labor.
"Dave", if you feel it isn't fair, then stop asking employees to work overtime. Problem solved. But, don't expect the same results, either.
