Fresh meat grinder

How many people actually clean grinder between establishment numbers, be honest, we don’t, if we did it the proper way, there would be no grinds on Friday,Saturday and Sunday.

Fresh is a joke!!! Over staffed, over paid, and always standing around talking.

Any Team Member who does not follow strict protocol for the Grinder places the Public, The Company and themselves in serious jeopardy. It is for Cross contamination and EColi that the Company and Federal Government requires such Standards. People can become seriously ill or die from such product. We have a responsibility to the Public Health and Safety of our Members anyone knowing a fellow associate to do this , should immediately report it to Management or Ethics , they should be terminated immediately.

I do. It's for the safety of our members. My team lead does not. She is worthless.

I don't think you understand. Yes, the company will be sued but YOU will be named in the lawsuit as well because it was you who disregarded not just Sam's club policy, but federal law.

As for delivery, yes clubs do have the right to refuse trucks and also your backroom Associates should know how to document shipments not properly shipped. Ask your GM or market manager for specifics.

Please don't lose your job over negligence.

You can't be serious. I can't tell you the number of pictures I've taken over the years of raw fish on top of meat boxes with no divider sheet. Or raw eggs on top on top of meat. I was told not to bother, I have no rights of refusal and they won't send product back to the DC. They don't care one iota about cross contamination. It will always be cheaper for home office to pay off the lawsuit rather than follow the rules.
Prove me wrong.

I highly suggest you start cleaning the grinder per policy.

The impact of legal fees and court costs will only compound the consequence of you losing your job if someone gets sick or dies because of cross contamination.

Public safety is more important than sales every. Single. Time.
