its a big world out there and other retail in my area exceed the starting wages of Sams, without the back breaking lifting of 50 lbs of rice or other items, simply because the other retail places do not sell bulk stuff
The best job I will ever have is the new job I am going to. The worst job I ever had was at the last place I worked at. This place is alright I just need to go somewhere new and challenging.
One of the reason so many people end up not liking a job is because they get involved with toxic employees. The article mentions not being able to talk in the break room due to the possibility of being disturbed. If you sit with that one employee who complains about being at work, guess what you will be doing at some time? If you listen to that employee who knows what to do to make the business better, but oddly enough they never step up meaning becoming supervisors or try for a management position, how do you think you will feel about the workplace?
Also think about this many companies now ask how many jobs have you had in the past. For some people changing jobs is as easy as changing their clothes. Then when they return to a retail job they get mad because they feel they are not making the money that is due to them and will eventually quit again.
