Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

To those displaced or those who have left the company due to abuse

Do not spend your money here. There are plenty of other choices. Costco, Target, Amazon, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Dollar General. They sold you out. I don't care if they were so "gracious" as to give you a lifetime membership for your countless year of service. Use it to go visit your friends who have not yet had the nerve to leave the abuse that this company dishes out, but do not spend your money here.

Tell your family and friends that they should not spend their money here. Hell, tell everybody you know. We gave them our loyalty and it was not returned. Money and sales are all they understand. Make them pay for the incompetence of their management.

I won't step into a Sam's Club ever again (numerous friends and family have gotten refunds on their membership and won't shop there either!). Shoddy treatment for far too long. So glad they eliminated my position it forced me to make a change I had been putting off. Life is good outside the club.

I know they're not separate entities but it always felt that way to me, so I'll continue to shop at Walmart because I enjoy shopping there. Sam's Club will never get another dime from me.

Yep. Left and don't shop at Sam's. Still trying to not go to walmart at all but do for some things. Really trying as they are the main reason Sam's is where it is now. They let it go to the ignorant wolves that have managed to ruin it and the people. The wrong chiefs in charge at HR, regional, market levels. Bunch of egotistical know it alls now.
Still getting used to Costco but it's been good. Most family & friends don't shop at Sam's anymore.

I left the company after a cumulative 21 tests between Wal-Mart and Sam's Club just this week. I'll never spend another dime there. I'll probably never enter the premises again. Bought my Costco membership today and told them why I was buying it.

My relatives have all cancelled their Sam's memberships.

To hell with them!

I have not stepped foot into a Sam's or Walmart since I left the company back when they got rid of the audit team. I did feel a little betrayed, but I've gotten over that. I just don't like who the company is now. The things they are doing to everyone is not to go unnoticed. There is nothing they have that I can't fine elsewhere. Honestly, the place looks like Kmart when it started to go downhill. I'm appreciated so much more at my new place of business. It's not perfect but I would never ever go back to that place. I'm am so much happier now. So much stress left me when I left. I can't wait for the rest to join!
