Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

To much favoritism and work overload

I worked here two years just left last week so many employees quit and they only hired 3 or 4 for about 40 that left in the last 3 months, when we get sent on our breaks were timed and get paged back, certain employees can stay as long as they wanted and nothing said to,then with the point system there are people that miss work all the time nothing said but when I miss for my kids apts I get a point. Then on busiest days 2 registers open if were lucky and cos rushing us cuz the long lines.Thank god I left this place I got less stress now.

I hate to break the news to you, but favoritism is everywhere, in every job. You want control? Start your own business. Otherwise you are an expendable piece and your only chance is to be nice enough that other people, including supervisors, like you.

You're the one who didn't learn a trade that pays sixty-five an hour, like electrician or plumber. Your the one who didn't pay attention in school to math or english. You didn't go to college to become a doctor, lawyer, electrical engineer, scientist, or get a decent degree. You played and now you pay.

Deal with it.......................or do something about it. But don't expect easy or fair, it ain't in the stars.

They are just biding time with the OT for the next round of layoffs. As for favoritism, old news. Regionals & market managers especially show the example by having their favorites and its do obvious. If you aren't part of their "click" you are or will be out.
Here in Central/Norcal it's a running joke about the new MM and regional. I just go in do my job, go home. Looking for another though.
