GM

So I talk to my GM today cause I have some serious problem with my coworker. My supervisor is off and my manager is schedule at noon but I’m schedule morning so I talk to my GM cause I’m so piss off of my coworker. Then he said “you need to talk to your supervisor n manager before jumping on me.” Is that the right way to a GM to talk to his associate that Need someone who talk to? Seriously. Wow

If it's an urgent matter the manager you reported to, even the GM, should take care of it. If its not, you should report go to your manager when they arrive. The GM doesn't need to handle every issue. They can't. Assistant managers are the associates direct manager and they should report to them first so they do their job. Unless like I said it's an urgent timebound concern. That said, there are still many GM's that dismiss or pawn off all issues. Even the most urgent or concerning. That is really what most GM's and market managers do today. Hope that the person gives up and doesn't report. Usually comes back to bite them in the arse later.
