The problem with your post is the company hasn’t been decimated.

Vena is a typical baby boomer X style manager, who couldn’t lead his way out of a paper bag. Holler and threaten and use negative reinforcement. That’s not leadership; that’s bullying.
We used to get threatened with a Vena visit on a weekly basis. We would also get told of horror stories from other shops. The truth is, we are so beaten down that we don't care anymore. It is like having a terminal illness or waiting to go into battle. We just want it over with. Shutting us down and forcing us to get a job elsewhere would finally end it and actually be a relief. It is never fun to go job hunting, but we would make it through and finally rid ourselves of the cancerous and negative environment of the Union Pacific Railroad.
No one cares!!!
The real waste is at the top of the company
If they do get rid of some managers I won't shed a tear ! They didn't care when they told us to go home! Karma it's a b...
Stress leave! Everyone is doing it.
If this is true, our manager's in N. Platte got walked out by the special agents.
Why do you need 3 managers for 7 carmen? Do the math, it's coming.
