Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

GUA Employees Received Bonus and Titles with no experience.

The individuals from GUA, Manila and India that are replacing many Admin at the cores have gotten a bonus. Don’t be pressured to sign off on any of the docs they created/copied. For all the training, a lot of wasted time and effort because they don’t care about the actual job just black/white to them which does not work in the real world. Some of those trained at my core have gone back to HCL GUA, Manila, India and are doing what they want. My core falls behind in the day to day with no pity from Admin. The rumor is, this once thriving core will be absorbed into another. So everyones days are numbered and those that were not rebadged, not all, just one or two that think they can treat people poorly their day is close as well. Life goes on and after a great interview in which I was offered a great job I can say my daily stress of hearing about bonus’, raises and promotions will be gone. No job is perfect, but the mental abuse and BS is enough to make anyone feel horrible. Good luck to everyone because we all worked hard.

You know Xerox is desperate and doesn't care when the Guatemalans were not picked to come to the cores to train because they were smart and qualified, HCL asked "who has a visa" and "who can speak english"
How sad is that?
Hey Guatemala on this board, we feel sorry for you, you all are being used and have no idea what you are in for when you own these jobs and have no idea what you are doing and have Xerox breathing down your neck to produce, be prepared!!!!!

Not sure why anyone is blaming employees from Guatemala when the decision to offshore was made by Xerox “Leadership”. They are descent people trying to earn a living for their families - just get the picture and leave xerox dump as fast as possible

@ xxi & dyf- Bitter? You bet! Being educated, dedicated, loyal and very hard working to a company only to watch your organization/company give away your loyalty to “project green” over the past seven years. How does it feel to know that you were hired, not because of your abilities, but because you are a cheaper resource? It’s not your fault. Xerox has no idea how to run a business and hasn’t since the 90’s, hence the major turmoil we are in today and why they sold you (a cheap resource) and many of U.S. employees out to HCL, an India Company (a cheaper resource)... How does that taste? I say a little salty...

How is the joke on me when I still have my job, with a industry leading salary for the region. Sure, salary is not as high as in the USA but the cost of living is way lower in Guatemala. So again, I still don't get how the joke is on me. Please elaborate.

Hey Guatemala employee posting here I have a copy of the letters showing bonus. I’m not bitter, your Annual Salary should make you bitter. The joke is on you I guess you didn’t get the bonus like your co-workers.

Fake! HCL Guatemala employee here and can confirm NO bonus was awarded to anyone, badged or otherwise. It's a shame can rely on anonymity on this forum just to talk c-ap because they are bitter

I agree the stress is becoming too much. Too many demands, using people telling them after they are let go from HCL they will hire them back. What does management get? Think about it. How much more money goes in their pocket? At some cores management picked and chose who was getting rebadged. At our Core they are hiring, WTF.
