By wanting the long time employees to leave, isn't that age discrimination???
They want long time employees to leave!!
It's starting to happen at my store as well. 5+ year employees are getting burnt out and finding jobs elsewhere. Also the quality of our new hires are getting worse. Lots of new people that just dagf about their work.

Retention isn't what it used to be. The upside is, it doesn't matter anymore if lazy imbeciles quit anymore. 3 more will take their place! I suppose the people who do want to stay will be ushered in faster as well. The main "problem" with our store is we hire smart young college grads and they of course want to find a job in their field asap. They generally do a good job and we hate to see them leave but they are already applying for jobs in their field and wf just came first. They get hired and continue to look for jobs. I'd say 60% of our new hires either never show up for their first day or leave within a month due to getting a "real" job. I'm actually a little glad that people don't stick around forever. Terrible people would fail upwards then remain stagnant and leave no room for great tms to move up.
