Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Multiple BEs in a row

I’ve gotten a BE for the last 7 reviews I’ve received. How likely will I be laid off? I just recently changed apartments and this one costs a bit more so can’t really afford to be jobless

Before you diagnose yourself with depression, check first if you are actually working at BNY.

I received BE right before layoff (2 week prior). All other my evaluation was expected and above expectation. Should I point that such big company as BNY have to have much more time to prepare packages for people they let go. So this mean my name was picked by manager and at this point of time they try to build around me not fair and not professional environment . However I stay calm and did my job as best as I could. But any way they gave me BE. All people I working with was very surprised and recommended me to fight. But I am not fighter by my nature. So I prefer to go.

Maybe your punishment is to keep working at BNY.

Not to sound snarky, but how could you possibly receive 7 BE in a row ? That’s 3 1/2 years of you being a c-appy employee. Hoping this is a joke.
