I'm a manager in SJC. Hearing rumors their will be one more round of layoffs prior to Xmas. Boss claims to know nothing. Anyone else hearing noise?

How is this news or even a question? How disconnected are you from the constant reality of constant pocket layoffs? Do you ever go into the office or talk to people? And now that the stock has tanked, what do you think Chuck will do to please Wall Street about fiscal discipline Bla Bla?

As a manager, not knowing is either a good or bad sign.
Either you're being impacted and your boss isn't telling you or you're not going to have to tell the people you manage that they're being let go.
Layoffs over the holidays are typically smaller stealth layoffs. Cisco doesn't like the bad PR of Thanksgiving layoffs.
I have heard that as well through my network. Expect another round this or next fiscal quarter.
