Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Be Thankful you have a job

So many folks posting stuff on here complaining about anything and everything. People be thankful you have a job. One day when all the Sam's close you'll be wishing you still had that job. There has been a lot of changes and we have to roll with the flow. If you are not happy with the way things are there is two things you can do, grin and bear it or leave the company. Doesn't do you any good to get yourself all worked up over who's getting a raise, who is the favorites, scheduling etc. Take a chill pill and except things as they are. Once you accept this you'll feel less stress and enjoy the fruits of your labor (paycheck). With so many companies laying off workers or closing stores we better be glad we're still working. Think about what I wrote and make tomorrow a better day for your own well being.

Noah built the ark and Moses stood there with a clipboard and micromanaged costs. Then John Furner took it for a ride with a few other execs, crashed it into a big rock, and blamed it all on Noah's poor design and Moses' mismanagement. Then he hired someone who was blind in one eye, deaf in one ear, had both thumbs missing, and badly in need of hip and knee replacement surgery, to build a new one, all by himself, on a budget of $100, and in half the time it took to build the first one. How do you think that one turned out?

Moses never had a day off. He worked 365 days a year for 4 years building that Ark.

"Be thankful you have a job", is in the Walmart/Sam's Club Manager's handbook, as a highly effective line to use when attempting to motivate associates toward achieving productivity goals.

I wish they would all close . I still make the same today day as I did back in 2008. So I’ll sit back and watch your team leads and cos bring the place down . You get what you paid for. Cause the works that you gave the raises to are NOT the ones that do the work. Happy to help☹️

My Sam's club closed and I thank God for it every single day. I was scared to walk away from the place I had known for 15 yrs, but I did it. It was the best decision I have ever made. There is no way I will ever wish I had that job again. It's like being in a toxic relationship. You don't realize how much it destroys you until you get out.
