The acquisition of Red Hat has completed, hasn't it?

Sad thing is, is there a reason to save the company? Does it make anything, sell anything, service anything that would not be picked up by someone else if IBM just disappeared? What does IBM do to deserve to exist?
He is getting the lay of the land. IBM bought Redhat to change IBM’s strategy, AND to realign IBM. This is a classic case of current management being out of ideas. I believe they paid quite a price, but if it saves the company so be it. Current management should surrender all parting gifts when they leave except for the golden watch each should be issued. It will be a Mickey Mouse watch saying “time to leave”. They have plundered the company enough PLEASE exit stage left Your skills have not kept up.
@10GA5KMI-you: Nailed it. I regret I only have one upvote to give you.
Work in progress.
An IBM executive is _made and not born_. Inwardly ruthless, mildly dim-witted, overtly narcissistic and hopelessly out-of-touch. Intensely focussed on protecting their bonus while steadfastly declaring _customers and employees come first_. This mindset does not naturally.
LOL nice one
He's still being onboarded!
