Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

TL,s not worth the pay raise.

We are seeing the majority of our leads and cos,s just standing around with their finger up their butts. Is it the same in your club. Especially when the managers are not around. Ours act as if they are now above everyone else. It's a shame.. They will steal company time like crazy. It does absolutely no good to say anything to a manager.. They will take extra long breaks by setting at our cafe tables or go to lunch for a hour or longer and then do a time adjustment for 30 minutes..Just curious if this happens in other clubs.

This sounds like my club they do nothing and get away with it play on there phones and there are members standing in long lines because they don't want help

The only leads I see usually standing around are fresh leads and the occasional tire lead.

Im a front end lead and all of us on the front end bust our butts trying to get plus and credit while trying to get the members cashed out in a timely matter not to mention there are only 2 cashiers scheduled on a Friday or Saturday night, we yell for the floor partners to come run for is but they never do idk about your club but ours is a hot mess and after 12 long yrs of service I feel like I deserve the raise after all we did pick up accounting and human resources not to mention everybody in the club needs something from a front end lead

Some GMs act like there s–t don't stink and it is rubbing off on some TLs. People forget were they came from. Try to tell them the first thing out of there mouth not me. LOL.

They are doing just as the market manager here in CA expects and does himself. He doesn't think any leaders should work hard or help us little people. Promotes managers that do nothing and seem to know nothing. Walks in with his high and mighty attitude and expects everyone to bow down to him. If he sees a manager helping associates he will tell them to stop. "It's not your job." Even when we are desperately needing it. He blows off members and nit picks everything. Someday.. "do it yourself" is going to come out as I walk out the door.

My TL was doing this a while ago. I called ethics. Someone came in and talked to me. I had all my evidence. Dates, times, locations to view on camera. She was fired immediately. Don't think there's nothing that can be done.

Sounds like your from my club . When you talk about hanging out at cafe. They never clock in or out they do it from the computer. They do stuff all the time that your not supposed to do. And your right about telling a manager it want do any good. Home office shame on you.

If you can pay a maid to clean the place for $8/hr when you're charging $25 an hour to clean the place, you go with 1 maid for $8/hr or 3 maids for $8/hr. It's the obvious thing to do.

Yes, we have several that just hang out in the Fresh Office for hours and play on their phones. They can take an 8 hour day and do nothing with it. It's repulsive how lazy and worthless they are.
