Is there truth in the rumor that some clubs have abandoned block scheduling?

My manager is trying to change my schedule. I don't want it changed, I've already made doctor appointments, which I've changed to fit my new schedule. Don't want to call home office, but I will if I have to.
Our club doesn't follow block scheduling. CM is ok with it supposedly. I really don't think he knows exactly how bad it is. Associates hours changed and days off from what they where told it would be. And if you don't check your schedule daily you will get points for not working when they change your schedule with out asking you. They say they have 24 hours to change your schedule and they don't have to tell you or ask you. They expect and tell you you have to check your schedule daily and put a notification on the time clock to check your schedules that changes have been made to the whole area and this notification is on the time clock every day and week. If you say something they say there is a note on the time clock. That makes it ok in there eyes. So you get points because you didn't check your schedule even if you was off and didn't see the notification.
I hear so many complaints that their schedule was changed and they already had plans etc. What happened to schedules 3 weeks out and if any changes happen it had to be approved by management and the associated it effected.
Sometimes the schedule is changed 24 hours and less. Good Associates get so upset and end up quitting. This needs to stop.
I personally hate the new block scheduling. I now work every single weekend, and til 9:30pm even when we close at 6pm, which is out of my availability which makes going to college harder.
They make it look good on paper but still do what they want in the club
I haven't had blocked scheduling yet. They won't give me my two days off that I was supposed to get.
Home office told Club managers if they don’t do it there way they will be replaced.
No... Just trolls being trolls. They abandon block scheduling, they get in a ton of trouble.
