- I was let go in August with nothing on my record.
- Creepy guys from corporate did the interview and decided I was out.
- My store didn’t even know.
- Yes, vendors called me offering me a job.
- I have decades of experience.
- Why was I fired?

Same thing here! 22 years at Lowe’s! No write ups in all 22 years. Purchase approved by a manager. Suspended and then whacked a week later! Thanks Loss prevention! More like “Sales Prevention “!
You didn’t happen to be one of the employees that was still getting the spiff payout were you? I’m
Same thing happened in our store. Manager was letting anyone buy something at cost. When creepy corporate came in they fired two ASM's and one started singing about it. Creepy corporate came back and fired the manager. yes the LNS position is being eliminated but this person should have been laid off not fired. Lawsuit time. And please don't accept a job from any vendor, particularly those in OSLG as their jobs are being scaled back too.
Because you’re not telling the whole story
No he did not. When all this happened he was working over nights. I had my creepy interview w/ corporate on Tuesday and fired on Friday. I never had a chance to speak to him. Honestly I just want to say thank to everyone who has supported me and to whoever ( I think I know who you are😀)that reposted this. It’s backed me up that I should see a contingency lawyer. I was definitely screwed by the NEW Lowe’s.
And by the way the lil twerp from corporate that interviewed me had to read from a script. Welcome to the new Lowe’s!
Did the manager that approved the markdown come to your defense? If not, why not?
In don't think they let you go because of an AC. I think they are getting rid of all the specialists, Like us assemblers your busy season is over ,so why have the extra payroll if the position is going away.
Go for it: wrongful termination lawsuit
If what you say is accurate, you have grounds for unemployment and possibly a wrongful termination lawsuit. it would probably be costly and not worth you time, but you will likely find something better.
