Market managers were pulled for a meeting today. Anyone know when those changes will roll out to the rest of us? What jobs are going to be cut this time?

Don't you get tired of worrying about that? This company has us running on a wheel like a hamster while feeding us only the barest minimum.
Time for us to move on.
Back in the day, we managed an entire P&L. Income and many expense lines. Now the only thing HO, regionals & market managers know how to do is cut payroll rather than be able to manage all accounts they should be. It's become a joke.
@1iev - I know what you're referring to and quite a few companies use those types of devices. It's one thing if all you're doing is pulling orders all day long. My comment was made in a more facetious, "Big Brother", sort of vein, although I really think Bentonville would manage every location from the HO and do away with market and store management if they believed they could, just to wipe out all those salaries, too. Seems extreme in theory, but we're learning quickly that they'll do whatever they can to dump payroll. It doesn't matter who it affects or how many, associates and members be damned. They want to horde all the money they can and they'll trample over as many people as they have to in the process.
What do you mean if they could, Amazon does that to their employees. They have a hand held they have their whole shift. It tracks how long it takes the to pull orders and as well as how long it should take. If they need to use the bathroom that take it with them a note the stop on the hand held.
The problem for HO is that they would have to fork out $$for this and they are saving$$ by having BYOD.
Maybe they're finally going to eradicate both market and club management, and deal with the clubs directly from their desks in Bentonville, strictly by way of surveillance, badges that track your every move, and broadcasts through networks of giant monitors placed throughout each store. Yeah, tell me they wouldn't if they knew they could!
