I'm a big box Kmart. I'm still not closing? What did I miss?
Don't stay for the liquidation. Stores are slated to close in December. You will have a tough time finding work during the holidays because most companies have hired seasonal workers. Eddie does not care about you. Why should you care about him?

Is there an official notification letter for all of these Kmart and Sears store closures? Starting to wonder if this genuine.
I do not see one presented on the Sears Holdings Company Statements webpage.
Did anyone think anything different? The reason for the hometown purchase was to close out the big box stores.

Probably the same shill that claimed that the SHC bankruptcy prediction posts were hoaxes as well.....
TransformCo is not doing any better than Sears Holdings was......Sears and K Mart are continuing down the same downward spiral that they were pre-bankruptcy.
Hoax? Don't think so. Its happening. Transforming to zero. So sad but this company will be a memory soon.
Denile is not just a river in Africa but it is on this board too. Everything from the last 2 days that has been "predicted" has pretty much came true. Haven't seen any hoaxes lately, but I have seen A LOT of people put out of work. If you're no longer employed and have connections still in HE......go ahead, reach out to them.....they will tell ya.

What a hoax. Are we really supposed to believe this? There is no way this is happening. Will believe when it's posted on a true reliable sight.
52 Sears and 80 Kmarts is what was announced on the calls. List should be coming shortly.
There's approximately 192 Kmarts running normal operations (subtracting those already in liquidation) at the moment. If 130 are on the chopping block, that leaves us with 62 total stores!
Just got a call from the manager. Our Kmart is closing.
If what is being posted here is true, and I'm not saying it isn't, then someone has to have some names and locations of stores.
130 was the number I got from someone that was on the calls.
My store manager was on a conference call where stores were announced to close. Layaways and Western Union are ending immediately.
Stores will begin liquidating middle of September and will close by early December.
Trust me, its true... They were on a call this morning. Did it in a group call instead of DM's calling stores individually. All someone needs to do is get a look at the call invite and there they are. Not sure of dates, but I have already talked to some upset SGM's.
