For some reason I feel that the last three months of 2019 are going to be the worst. Thoughts?

The CTO has asked XDX to reduce IT expense by another 20% between now and early next year.
EVERYONE should be sharing the existence of this site to existing (remaining) employees as a service to them. We have the experience (and accurate intel so far) to inform their decisions. The right thing to do is to not let what happened to us happen to them.
My thought is you either stress 24x7 about whether you will be laid off or you take actions now to get out. Things will implode 2021 or sooner- at which point everything is on the table.
Not a good feeling when the boss won’t look directly at you during meetings.
Things have been too quite..It’s starting to feel a little eery..
Hcl is getting rid of rebadged employees, the goal is by the end of January
Since the success of the 2019 portion of OwnIt ($640M reduction) has not been revealed, estimating the likelihood of more layoffs in 2019 is guesswork. Wipro and HCL disasters weigh heavily - on one hand the COO doesn’t want to make it worse. On the other hand, unplanned “fix it” costs eat into OwnIt savings. C-ap shoot. Certainty: 2020 will see same or more than 2018/2019.
Worked in Mfg. 30 plus years now retired.
Seems we had layoffs yearly right around the Thanksgiving period...Xerox way of stuffing the Turkey .
People: read -ocm comment. The cuts so far are to reach $640M in 2019. Now realize the total cuts are to be $1.5B by 2021. You can live in a dream world all you want that massive layoffs are over. They are not.
Not sure it can get worse, but definitely will continue ..For years Xerox has been in the habit of laying off during the holiday season
From my very limited info it will be minimal. Though that doesn't include actions that hcl may or may not take for those already there.
Keep in mind the amount of cutting done in 2018/2019 will continue thru 2021.
