RA rumblings for September?

4 September being mentioned:

(See the comment from 8/31 which is also shilling for an employment attorney)

Anyone else hearing anything or can corroborate the poster's comments?

Can anyone, formerly in management, share how they decide which folks to layoff? Is there a number of cut sent down from higher up and the first-level mgr or their boss, picks the unlucky name from their roster?

Or do the names get selected from higher up, based on criteria?

Anyone hearing names are now out for management to review ? This round is going to be difficult as the few staff left are the hand picked/ management brown noses that thru thousands under the bus.

I am constantly getting emails to jump on the Red Hat sales team, we will even give you a bonus!
You know IBM must be desperate if they are handing out bonuses.
So IBM is 34bil in the red for a product they cannot even sell? Nice work guys.

A few people I know are taking retirement, if you want to call it retirement. They get 12 month of insurance and 1 months pay , IBM cut funding retirement pension at 30 years. Really sad these folks worked so hard to get so little.

This should roll out each week until the end of September since Red Hat was purchased. Service and support will most likely be hit hard. IBM is moving away from BAU business and to the Red Hat model. Good luck folks.

I believe there was a bunch cut in early June, who left this week, and a follow up round on 8/1 who will exit on 10/31. Seems inevitable there will be more rounds and we'll probably hear about it here first.

All experience smart DPE's are replaced by staff from puerto rico.Already customers feeling the pain and support as well relationship with customer are going south. Its just matter of next 6 months when remaining half customers will also start leaving and RA cycle will continue with next other teams supporting the customers will see RA.This is all because at top Managment of IBM who don't recognize skillset or experience or smartness and not sparing even top performer .They don't know how to run business and don't understand that people with knowledge/skillset who are directly handling customer and its Managment are number one ingredient for retaining customer and which helps to keep revenue for IBM to further go down. Now they shoot themselves and they will soon realize and see how customer erosion will increase in few months.

Yes, CMAS - Cloud Managed Application Services is releasing ALL of their DPE - Delivery Project Executives on September 4th 2019, not certain how they will manage their existing accounts without this management team in place.

Seeing 80% reductions in the US for different locations on the web. Is anyone else hearing this, management meeting again for names and exit dates ? September is a prime month for cutting the string.
