An I the only one that’s scared going into the last part of the year? Don’t have any special info, just a hunch that there are going to be mass layoffs in the following months. After all the leadership is likely to want to go with a lesser workforce into the new year.

Based off stagnating revenue versus profit expectations, they will need to let aprox. 8,000 employees go. Your move Chuck.
Heard at the end of September they are having professional procedure writers from Pune/Chennai coming for many departments. If this is the case, I’m sorry but your job is being moved and you will be let go. Good Luck
Layoffs will happen company wide. Not just one department will be affected. It will be all departments.
Lot of automation, closing & consolidating offices, etc. Heard Bny MD’s, VP’s will be the targets in the next wave of layoffs (Dec 2). Make room for new blood (CEO friends). Also, anyone who received BE most likely will be let go also. End of year reviews should be due around this time.

Sad obviously 50000 employees are not the problem with this place sack management start over. This place sounds like a train wreck.
So today there was an email regarding global inventory project. My guess is to get a headcount of employees at each location. Figuring which locations to consolidate or close. Thoughts?
Awful company to work for by the sounds of it. I was offered a position there but after reading all the online coverage, it is truely bottom of the list for me. In the mean time accepted a position in a different firm and believe it or not the salary is 48% higher!!!!
Heard next wave of Layoffs are happening Dec 2 (Monday after Thanksgiving).
I am scared... that they may keep me.
