They told us a couple of years ago they wanted to hire our family members.....A lot of them quit good paying jobs to come here because they were told the railroad is a secure job that you'll probably retire from there.....Then they do this sh–!!! These employees they layed off like they meant nothing to them were the ones who helped them make their record profits!!! NS is the antichrist of railroads!!! Only a true scumbag would do what this CEO is doing. You never see the greedy higher ups taking pay cuts to keep jobs. Pray for all these employees who lost their jobs to corporate greed.

I work for the up. Our railroad is doing the same thing. They all want to make max profits in the short term and k–l themselves in the process.
Instead of striking go get another job. That is what most of America has to do. And for the ones crying about wages and vacation, you've been paid better than most, but your toys and lifestyle eat your wages. Grow up, save your money, downsize, and survive. In other words, man the hell up.
Can't strike dumb*ss. You're not even a railroad employee. Leave this site immediately. As for the Union Officer, no elected officer would run his/her mouth about rumors or facts on a public site. I suspect you are a company person playing 007.
