Survey Says...

The i-got-no pula survey is back for another quarter. Only 5 questions and no open ended ones. Talk about a waste of time and effort.

I stopped by my senior managers desk the other day and no surprise she had the survey results printed on her desk. She also had her HR contact’s name and number written at the top of one of them. How’s that for anonymous?

The link to open the survey doesn’t work.

That, all by itself, describes everything about verizon

I'm willing to participate in the Pulse surveys if they're willing to ask the right questions. Trivial questions about my boss? Who cares! Ask me if Verizon has the right executives who can meet today's challenges. I'd really like to see what side of the 70% mark that lands on, wouldn't you? I bet our shareholders would.

Dumbest survey ever.

Some individuals were 'coached' for providing negative feedback in previous surveys. I suspect they will provide much higher scores this time irrespective of actual feelings. The company should not be providing results down to the Sr Mgr level, that only serves to create a 'competition' between Sr Mgrs under the same director and pressures individual contributors to provide perfect scores. I mean, come on, a question specifically rating your senior manager? What about the leadership above them? I may have no problem with my Sr Mgr but they are acting on the same limited information available to me. Total joke.

Passing on this one again. Nothing more than social manipulation at the corporate employee level. Management would be delusional to think that craft is so oblivious that we do not see what is going on.

No one I know has any clue where the company is really going. Nothing but hidden agendas behind the '5G will save the world' push.

The questions are designed so that no matter how you answer they will achieve their 70% passing rating. Mine when right into the trash.

Morale won't improve until they purge IT leadership and stop rebadging employees.

Given they likely tracked who replied to the survey and how they replied to the questions I'm sure everyone chose strongly agree for each answer.

“Couldn’t care less, let me retire”
Will be the only answer to any survey

Did they give up pretending to ask everyone how to run the company?
