Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Will 2020 finally be the year Verizon is "organized?"

Who here can remember a year (or even a month) in the past decade Verizon was not having some kind of reorganization? Small reorgs, major reorgs, vertical reshuffling, horizontal reshuffling, merging, divesting...you name it, we've done it.

But with all that reorganizing, isn't it time for this company to finally reach the point when it is considered organized? A period of more than a month with no reorgs? Is that even possible at this point?

I have been with the company almost 15 years and I can honestly say every year this company gets worse than the year before. The good years have come and gone never to return.

No. This corporation will continue to contort and reduce workforce. Reorganazation comes with those two items. It also comes with an industry that was formally full of amazing growth and is now stagnant and contracting. Nothing good ahead. Milk it for all its worth or leave for something more stable.

2020 will be the year Verizon kicks the union to the curb with the sale of wireline and FiOS assets.

Haters going to hate so flame on with your comments, but it is what it is.
