Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

If honeywell wants to reorganize, why not do it quickly?

What’s the point of constant reorgs and constant business consolidation? Not that I agree with the leadership, but if they have a certain vision of the company structure, why not try to achieve it in the shortest amount of time, instead of playing with people’s lives by creating a state of constant uncertainty?

Now I know you are full of BS... No Director has the peoples best interest in mind. If so they wouldn't be posting on this site they would be telling their people face to face.

Since they have lost all control of how this was "announced" the preparations to recieve the work from Anniston and other locations has been accelerated.

I hope you all realize that their are Director(s) and higher that are not afraid to post here in the interest of the people. We want you to know what is coming. Trust me I am staring at it right now, they are moving as quickly as they can. Get ready.

It's a complicated process. HON is bleeding manpower at all levels and becoming more incompetent as talent leaves. The worst is yet to come!

"The president of aerospace quit with little notice."

Really? Mahoney is gone? I didn't see anything about that in the news.

They don't want t fail on multiple levels at the same time. So they roll out one initiative and watch the outcomes and pray. Needless to say, all have failed over the last decade or so.

The president of aerospace quit with little notice. I offer that leadership strategy was to get through the day and make the boss happy. Same strategy I have. Just a different boss.
So why did the president quit? Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to guess he didn’t see a way to make the boss happy anymore.
What is your strategy?

It’s to get people to leave, no severance that way!

The advantage (if there is one) of uncertainty here over the last 20 years, is it helps you stockpile money because you are afraid to commit yourself to a big purchase. Always thinking you'll be out on the street.
