Massive stock repurchases

O, like many other companies, went on a buy back binge with the repatriated profits after the tax break. That moola is gone, so they will have to dial back on the buybacks.

no debts, O is using available cash to prop up the stock and share dividends. not something that can last forever, but on the short term can give substantial benefit to those in the know.... i.e. those who knows when to buy and when to sell
what's the proof of stock buybacks by Oracle?
do you have links to websites (like finance website) that show that Oracle buys stocks (and possibly put on debts)?
Dropped massive dump at work.
Are you sure you don't mean to say you are working in a massive dump?
Freudian slip?
He IS the massive dump.
Oracle Cloud fraud??
Oracle is going the same way as IBM. IBM spent billions on stock buybacks and unfortunately these were at FAR higher prices than the current price. Eventually the lack of investment in future technologies and real cloud infrastructure is going to bite
It depends on what point in time you're using as the basis, eh?
ORCL was at $52.97 on March 9, 2018.
It's currently at $53.96. So that means it's up by 1.9%,
If you actually bought at one of the stock's worst points - which was Dec 21, 2018 - you could say that it's up by 22.6%.
Those of us who have been with the company for a long time know that our stock has been languishing in the low-50s for a long time at best. The brief run-up to $60 was short lived so kudos to all of you - and me - who were wise enough to sell at that point.
Lagging other tech co’s by a wide margin - get out while you can at a decent price!
O makes Enron look like a bunch of amateurs
Someday O will got the Enron and Xeros way.
Not just the stock is fraud. The whole company is corrupt. Marketing, sales, and development, too.
So many lies........ if you are an honest person, you need to get out of the company.
Oracle is all fraud, get out of it as soon as you can
