I was told by my manager not to worry and stay calm in Dec 2018 - and was laid off by him in Mar 2019. If you have it in you guys, please leave - if you have 20+ years or maybe cant leave, then you will just be waiting on the next SRD wave unless you are in the top quartile for performance AND, yes AND around bottom half for salary.
So sick of investor's! They don't understand anything about most businesses or even what is going on inside that business. All they care about is constant profit, ever increasing sales and market share. One bad quarter and off with your head. Like we are machines or something. They see a number they don't like, flag the news, selling begins, we get laid off. Screw these people!!
I'm telling Tim Stone on all of you for being so negative....you obviously have not read his email to everyone tell us not to worry, all if fine, remain calm.
Actually, just read an article in Barron's which said auto (like everyone knows) are a cyclical business, so now is the time to invest in them when the prices are lower and new product is coming online over the next two years, so of it ground breaking....so goes to show you everyone has an opinion, which one needs to be careful to remember are not facts.
Moody's rating service just downgraded Ford's credit rating to "junk" status. That affects borrowing and attractiveness to investors who hope to invest in Ford to make a profit. Wonder how he will endear himself to investors—more personnel cuts?
