Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Mondelez really has gone down the tubes! Nepotism, discrimination, etc..

I know how you feel honestly. I was casually looking for something else before, but now I'm all in on leaving. This past holiday season was the breaking point. I know it's usually a busy point, but this year was too much. Between the 42,40, and 40 hour weeks I worked the last 3 weeks (because God forbid the company pay me a little extra so stores are happy), the nonstop phone calls on the weekends in between because of terrible merchandisers (and my boss yelling at me just to make sure I had enough stress and lack of sleep), and no help from the higher ups (they just laid more work on me), I am through. Unfortunately I can't just quit (kinda need to pay the bills plus other financial obligations), but as soon as I find something I'm out.

So many senior management has moved on! Top tier management! For good reasons! They won’t have to give a decent severance because what will be left are employees that are staying regardless! Face it, any severance isn’t worth not having a job for an undetermined amount of time! Those that can retire, I get it! Otherwise I really don’t get it! Everyone knows what’s coming, if they don’t they really ought to figure it out soon!

If you're looking for a good severance package forget it. DSD is being dismantled in pieces so you'll get little to nothing in severance! It's the Mondelez advantage!!! That's what they're committed to!!!

Hopefully you decided to move on! Change is never easy for anyone, but trust me, you will thank yourself. A company car and some extra vacation is no where near the benefit for being a bitc$ for anyone! You will wake up happy and go to bed happy, and there is no value you can put in that! Karma will get those that deserve it, and it won’t be fun! Love your life the way you want and treat people the way you wish to be treated, just that simple! Won’t happen at Mondelez so you have to accept that!

You think it’s tough to give up, but so worth it!! I did and it was the best day of my life! Nothing will change, the culture is toxic! Life is so much better! Unless they clean house in our region, top down, things will continue to erode. It’s a huge liability they way they behave! Our DM has literally had affairs with every female RMS, two left the company. It’s shameful! I’ve seen so many pictures, even after I saw it live. Once the alcohol starts flowing it goes downhill.
It has been a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Found a new job within two weeks, culture is warm and welcoming! Got emails from such senior management to welcome me, my head was spinning!! You will honestly thank yourself, I did!

The person that send that was probably HR or a manager! They don’t care about you and never will, so stop caring about them! Leave your phone in a store and play golf, have a drink, take in a movie! Your gonna lose your job anyways, they probably want you to quit!! They are horrible!!
