HCL: Anyone Receive Official End Date Notification

Did anyone receive an official HCL end date notification yet? Has anyone been notified as to unofficial end date?

I fear that due to the devastating ramifications of HCLs part in the deaths,
grounding of the 737 Max and delayed delivery of additional aircraft they will need to take hard measures to reduce costs. For Xerox is could mean speeding up transitioning rebadged Xerox staff to their lower cost off shore staffing.
Financial pressure resulting from legal actions families of the deceased, mounting financial loss suits from airlines, etc. is accelerating and will impact ALL
HCL businesses even after the software glitch is resolved, tested, approved and in place. Be ready.. By the way, JohnV and SteveB way to go selecting HCL

When I was in XPS in 111 back in 2016, we had the pleasure of training Guatemala to replace the 50+ people we had on the floor. To say it was "challenging" would be an understatement. Not to mention the chaos of having 50+ people being told they're being replaced in 60 days and that they are required to do a knowledge transfer and client handoff, but also the team in Guatemala was constantly being replaced so you'd have to start all over again. Then, once things were up and running, the process team that was in charge of the entire move was laid off as a thank you for their hard work.
Once I was handed my papers I found a job in Xerox Services 3 months before the transition to becoming Conduent. That gig lasted less than a year before the entire project was terminated along with the entire staff (unless they wanted to relocate to NJ with no moving costs or cost of living increase). Pathetic. You're nothing but a number and unless you've rubbed elbows with some "made-men/women" you weren't going to find another position in the company since everyone was hooking up their friends regardless of qualifications.

Hmmm... I didn’t get that signed paperwork

Nothing was in writing on the ORIGINAL paperwork I was given to sign for HCL employment starting April fools day
That contract I signed and returned

Later an email and additional PDF was sent out at MOS
Nothing signed though

But HR vouched for it, so it must be good...

To 10bESQtx-1usz, in Admin, 60 day notice and 6 month contract was in writing on our paperwork.

In response to some of the wording:
I never take anything as a guarantee unless in writing and signed

There was no GUARANTEE of 6 months
It was worded in an email and on a PDF that wasn’t signed ‘HCL is committed to 6 months’
Could be more
Could be less

I too told November at one of the largest cores. Verbal but was told by our cores leadership to all HCL employees so believe they just giving us a heads up. There were a couple of smaller HCL departments we were unsure how it impacted them, like FMA, since it seems they aren't apart of any hcl roadmap.

The person that replied with “November 2019 right before Thanksgiving”, do you mind sharing what group you are with and it that an official written notice or just verbal?

since they guaranteed 6 months and people were badged april 1st I'm thinking some will be notified last day of july or first day of august since they are giving 60 day notice, training the Guatemalans is SO painful, it's the equivalent of training an ant to run the kentucky derby (yes, it's that bad)
HCL just sent anyone to learn with no guidance because quite honestly I don't think HCL has a clue, once the transitions start fully happening the decline of Xerox ramps up!!!

Can’t be 8/1 if you do not have your 60 day notice yet

Not yet, maybe by 7/31 or 8/1 since the contract ends on 9/30. Cannot wait to get out of here! Training the Guatemalans is getting tiresome.
