Welcome to June 22nd OP. Email was sent out on a Tuesday, Vine rep was in our club the following week to administer the test. 15 CBL courses, along with a study guide that did not go in the order of the CBL’s. Information confusing because corporate acknowledged that the company has higher standards for food safety and sanitation than the actual test we had to pass. Leave it to Bentonville to make the transition as chaotic and confusing as possible.
When the certification diploma arrive in my mailbox, my parents threw a big graduation party for me at Dave and Buster’s... we had chocolate marble cake. My uncle had the diploma set into a beautiful picture frame with a matted border. I have it hung over the fireplace right as you walk in the door to my house. Of my fellow classmates, I was voted “Most Likely to Incorrectly Temp Raw Chicken” and our graduating class song was “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. Our class motto was “Food Expiration Dates are Overrated”.
Funny that the fresh area leads who got the big raises and deal with the subject matter of the food safety don’t have to get these.
This company is tripping over its own stupidity.
People you need to stop calling them coaches. They are salaried managers. I don't know who started that . Most do not teach and train. Most aren't trained them selves. They are there until they get fired or quit.. We use to have quality but the company runs them off. The company is to political. It who you know then you can keep your job a few years. But you will be gone soon.
Test is easy. Stop crying... just do your job

Food safety test is easy! It's not a big deal if you have common sense.
Didn't get a raise worked hard for years to get what I have.
Just take the test and shut up. Jesus you all cry about everything.
Remember, these raises were not given due to the heavy work load you had. They could care less. The raises were given because you will have even more responsibilities given to you. Oh, you can't handle more? Again, they don't care.
Actually all team leads are going to have to complete the food cert program. Got to justify that new increase you got.
